Photronix Technologies (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (PT) was founded in 2004 to carry-out manufacturing, sales and marketing of fiber optics products for sensing and communication applications. The research and development (R&D) work was done by our sister company since 1997. We also undertake contract manufacturing services for optical fiber components and specialized research contracts.
PT is strategically located in Cyberjaya, Malaysia - a growing high technology park ('smart city') just outside the capital of Kuala Lumpur.
The technical experts at Photronix have been involved in the field of fiber optic communications for over 20 years. They are among the pioneers in the development of wave-division multiplexing (WDM) technology. Our technical staff is a combination of highly skilled researchers, engineers and technicians who are dedicated to provide our customers with the highest quality products and services.
PT main line of products includes Fiber Bragg Grating for sensing and communication, wide range of EDFAs, broadband source, passive components such as coupler/splitter, WDM for narrowband, broadband and dualband applications. On projects, PT provides total engineering solutions for Sensor Monitoring and Communication Systems. The solution can be customized to suite customer’s requirement.
PT also carries a whole range of sensor monitoring equipment such as portable handheld, remote monitoring with GPRS/GSM communication and monitoring equipment for distributed sensing applications. Our technical team will be glad to discuss with you on your needs!
